Application Questions

WHO IS THE SCHOOL GEARED FOR? 
This school is targeted for adults (18 years and older) who are passionate about pursuing their God-given destiny, hungry to walk in the supernatural, and willing to take risks in love, honor, and compassion.
WHAT IS THE APPLICATION PROCESS?
Apply online here. After completed application form and recommendations are received, an email will be sent out to schedule an interview with a staff member. Within two weeks of the interview, another email will be sent out to communicate acceptance or denial. $200 deposit is due 2 weeks after notification of acceptance.
WHEN IS MY APPLICATION DUE?

Completed application as well as pastoral and personal references are due by August 1, 2017*.

*Date subject to change. We recommend that you apply and begin the application process as soon as you are able to.
IS THERE AN APPLICATION FEE?
There is a non-refundable application fee of $35. Payments can be made at socalssm.com/payments
HOW MUCH DOES THE SCHOOL COST?

The tuition for the entire school year is $2800** (for 1st and 2nd year), which includes books, retreat, Sozo session, and guest speakers. For payment information, click here.

WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH MONEY FOR TUITION?

We encourage raising support from family and friends. People are usually very willing to invest in the lives of those they love, especially if they are committed to following God's call.

Students in the past have written letters, created a Go Fund Me page, and have been supernaturally blessed in many miraculous ways.

General Questions

WHEN DOES THE SCHOOL MEET?
Classes will meet from September through May on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:30 – 9:30 pm.
WHERE DOES THE SCHOOL MEET?
SoCal SSM will meet at Franson Hall on the Venture Center campus (next to Mott Auditorium) in Pasadena, located at 1539 E.Howard Street Pasadena, CA.
WHEN IS MY APPLICATION DUE?
Applications are due in August 2016. Check the School Calendar for more details.
WHAT ARE THE AGE REQUIREMENTS?
18 years old or graduated from high school.
WHAT ARE THE HOUSING OPTIONS?
William Carey University has dorms available for students- www.wciuproperties.com/index.php/dormitory
HOW MUCH HOMEWORK WILL THERE BE?
Students will be required to read about 1 book/month and write a short book report. There will also be a Bible reading plan all students will follow and regular Bible assignments.
IS THE SCHOOL ACCREDITED?
SSM is not an accredited school with the State of California, therefore students are not eligible for financial aid, student loans, or grants through the government.
DOES IT HAVE A DEGREE PROGRAM?
There is no degree offered through SSM but a certificate of completion is awarded at the end of the school year.
WHO WILL BE TEACHING?
SoCal SSM staff and guest speakers.
HOW MUCH PRACTICAL TRAINING WILL THERE BE?
SoCal SSM is intentional about equipping and activation. There will be numerous opportunities to "practice" things like healing, prophecy, and divine encounters within a safe and encouraging environment. More information on this can be found here.
WHEN IS GRADUATION?
Graduation will be Wednesday May 3,2017 in Mott Auditorium at 7:00 pm.
