3rd Year Internships
The Journey
In your third year, you will be launched into a personalized internship where you will have the opportunity to try your wings in a local ministry and learn from dynamic mentors. YOU will now be replicating what you’ve learned, cultivating Kingdom, and pouring into others! It’s a capstone year, full of adventure, birthing the new, and falling even more in love with Jesus!
Focus
As a third year intern, you will commit to providing 4-5 hours per week of ministry assistance to a local ministry leader or to the school itself. In addition to your internship hours, you will attend SCSSM one night a week for family group time.
Family Groups
As a third year intern, you will participate in a weekly family group, pastored by a SCSSM staff member. Each week, you will gather with your family group to process your SSM experience, minister to one another, receive teaching, and enjoy deeper conversation about identity, community, encounter, and ministry.
The Process
All internships are approved through SCSSM with aligned ministry partners and are listed on the internship application page. Completion of a second year SSM program is required for the internship program. Transfers will be approved on an individual basis after interviewing.
