After 14 incredible years of hosting in-person schools in the Los Angeles area, SoCal SSM is entering a brand-new season with a new format more accessible and flexible than ever before. We are excited to offer our program in a small-group model of discipleship and activation. Rooted in the love and presence of God, we’re now equipping individuals, facilitators, and churches around the world to lead their communities into transformation.
We've taken the school's rich curriculum (union/intimacy with Christ, walking with the Holy Spirit, discipleship, Kingdom family, operating in your spiritual gifts, and discovering your unique creative purpose) and its integration of the Discovery Bible Study model, and put it all together in a user-friendly, plug-and-play format. But, for the first time, you can join or lead a small group (online or in-person) to move through the curriculum and transformational journey together!

After 3 years of testing this new format in partnering churches, we’re confident: this school is ready for your living room, your church, or your online group.

Who is this for?
Churches and Ministries
Our passion is to see churches and ministries thrive in the healing love of God. But often it's difficult to see your members sign up for programs outside of your organization. That is why SoCal SSM empowers you to lead your own SSM group INSIDE your organization where your own staff or members can facilitate the group.
Facilitators
Whether you're already leading a group or dreaming of starting one, we'll equip you to guide your people step-by-step through the SoCal SSM journey.
Individuals
For prospective students not already connected to a church or organization that is hosting an SSM group, we can either place you in an SSM group, led by our SSM staff, or empower you to start and facilitate your own group.

What exactly is SoCal SSM?
SoCal SSM (Southern California School of Supernatural Ministry) is a Spirit-led discipleship school rooted in identity, inner healing, and life in the Holy Spirit. Originally inspired by Bethel’s BSSM, we’ve trained students for over 14 years—and we’re now offering a flexible, online small-group model you can join or lead from anywhere.
Do I Need to Live in CA to Join?
Nope! Our new online model lets you join from anywhere in the world. You can either join one of our online-led small groups—or host one in your own community so that you can grow with people you know.
What makes this different from other online schools or Bible studies?
This isn’t just teaching—it's transformation in community. Using a Discovery Bible Study model, you’ll not only learn about your identity in Christ, but experience real heart change, hear God personally, and grow in the gifts of the Spirit—all while being supported in a small group. We have also been very intentional to craft a whole-person curriculum focusing on personal healing, wholeness, and connection with God.
Can I do this with my church or home group?
Absolutely! That's our hope! Our plug-and-play format is designed for churches, ministries, and even businesses that want to raise up leaders and create a Spirit-filled discipleship culture—without having to build the program themselves.
I’ve never led a group before. Can I still be a Facilitator?
Technically, yes. We would LOVE to meet you and come alongside your leadership journey. Our passion is to see leaders rise up. You don’t need to be a seasoned leader—we provide all the tools you need: step-by-step facilitator guides, video training, and a support team that walks with you. If you have a willing heart, we’ll help you lead with confidence.
How long is the program?
The full journey is approximately 9 months, designed to run weekly with built-in rhythms of rest, reflection, and ministry. It’s fully adaptable to your group's schedule.
