In your second year, you will learn what it means to abide, how to cultivate Kingdom culture within, and how to release the Kingdom of God into every sphere of society
You will gain a deeper understanding of your Union with Christ and tools to help you become a more resilient leader in ministry, the workplace, and in family. Every module is inlaid with rich encounters with Jesus, where you’ll grow in your intimacy with Christ and receive the promises on which you can build your life as a leader in the body of Christ. Whether you’ve completed your first year at SoCal SSM or another ministry school, we’d love to invite you into this powerful life-changing journey!
The Focus
The focus of our second year program is creating Kingdom culture through our union with Christ. Students complete a series focused on walking out their divine destiny with the Lord through a study on the Song of Songs, along with in-depth teachings that help you discover how to partner with God in creating family and Kingdom Culture.
Kingdom Culture Within
We can only recreate what we cultivate. This module establishes a foundation of inner connection with the finished work of the cross. We’ll identify mischievous lies we may be believing about ourselves, and learn to internalize the fruit of the spirit. This is the place from which all of our fruit springs forth.
Triune Wholeness
The great revivalists of the past have taught us that having an anointing is not enough to live a long, happy, and impactful life. This module is about growing in maturity and balance in our body, soul, and spirit. We’ll identify new strategies for supporting each other and ourselves so that we can finish the race without burning out.
Kingdom Family
We’ve all heard the old proverb “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, take someone with you.” This module is not just about going far – it’s about finding our place in the body of Christ. The world does not need a disjointed body, plagued with infighting and diseased with ego. Only when we learn to work together can we receive the grace of the Kingdom Family.
Co-Creating With God
As we’ve learned in our First Year Program, God is not looking for slaves; He’s looking for a bride. A bride who can help expand His Kingdom. This module helps us identify the purpose and callings in our life, masterfully hidden in our interests, dreams, talents, and desires. We believe that God has intricately woven these parts of us together, that we might work with Him, not just for Him, in bringing Heaven to Earth. We will work as a family to tease out one another’s passions to create a blueprint for our most impactful lives as believers.
Discipleship
The Kingdom of God has one, constant characteristic: it can recreate itself. In this module, we explore modern, organic methods of discipling the next generation of believers, weaving ourselves into the fabric of God’s master plan. You’ll be mentored by leaders from some of the most prominent disciple-making movements on the planet to help you make discipleship a normal, practical, and sustainable part of your life.
The End Result
This program will clean the lenses through which you see yourself, clarify the future that Jesus wants for you, and enfold you into a spiritual family that will supply the grace and belonging you’ve been searching for.
For the modern day believer, there is only one true path forward: straight into the heart of Jesus.

Completion of a first year SSM program is required for the second year program. We have accepted a variety of ongoing students from other programs including PIHOP SSM, HRock SSM, Bethel SSM, E58 School Ministry, and GCSSM. Transfers will be approved on an individual basis after interviewing.
